UA4Food is The University of Arizona’s charitable campaign to fight hunger in Pima County conducted in partnership with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona (CFB). UA4Food was created in 2004 to provide an umbrella for food drive activities at the UA.

Events and drives are sponsored by a wide variety of departments, student groups and area merchants during the entire year. Many UA4Food events focus on supporting the food bank’s child hunger and nutrition programs. Our goal is to prevent hunger and help children succeed in school.

Since the inception of UA4Food in 2004 the University family has contributed $3,233,403.56 and 206,830 pounds of food to the Community Food Bank. We strive to help those in need in our community by cultivating awareness about issues related to hunger and poverty and increasing participation every year.

UA4Food is coordinated by The University of Arizona Office of Community Relations.
